A relational database management system (RDBMS) is a program that lets you create, update, and administer a relational database. Most commercial RDBMS's use the Structured Query Language (SQL) to access the database, although SQL was invented after the development of the relational model and is not necessary for its use.
The leading RDBMS products are Oracle, Sybase, IBM's DB2 and Microsoft's SQL Server. Despite repeated challenges by competing technologies, as well as the claim by some experts that no current RDBMS has fully implemented relational principles, the majority of new corporate databases are still being created and managed with an RDBMS.
Because RDBMS is one of just three key technologies we pride ourselves on knowing exhaustively, we have the capacity; wisdom and reputation to cherry pick the finest candidates to do an exemplary job. From Project Managers and Business Analysts to Technical Architects and Developers.
Whether we are placing contract or permanent employees or an entire project team, our selection process is equally rigorous and extensive. Our recommendations come only after referrals, research and dialogues convince us that candidates are completely suitable. And let's not forget, likeable. Many of those we place have become good friends over the years. Certainly our responsibility towards them continues long after they have been employed. |
